Reflection-- 6/11/24
My mind is constantly trapped in the future.
But Scripture tells me that God has already taken care of my future, and wants to spend time with me in the present.
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:10
By enjoying tea in a meditative, ceremonial way, it requires me to collect my attention, connect me to my senses, and ground me in the present moment so that I may understand the character of the tea and appreciate the craft of its producer.
