One of the first things that attracted me to Chinese tea brewing was the size of the teaware; adorably small, but purposefully designed. In the eastern practice of gong fu cha or "tea with skill", tea is brewed in an intentional manner to bring out its unique characteristics, much like a sommelier would sample small amounts to appreciate aroma and taste.
